It’s Risky, It’s Costly and It’s Deadly

The Issue

1,200
alcohol-impaired-driving fatalities in our region.

12,000
people die on our roads due to impaired driving.

Why Checkpoints?

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) reports that 85-90% of Americans support sobriety checkpoints.

Since 2002, CPSF has held thousands of checkpoints throughout the region. The results of these checkpoints include millions of vehicle contacts resulting in over thousands of DWI/DUI arrests.
